Kotonseparilo
Kotonseparilo aŭ kotonsensemilo estas maŝino kiu rapide kaj facile separas kotonajn fibrojn el ties semoj, permesante multe pli grandan produktivecon ol permana kotonseparado.[2] La fibroj estas procezataj por vestoj aŭ aliaj kotonaĵoj, kaj tiele ajna nedamaĝita kotono estis uzata por tolaĵoj. Semoj povas esti uzataj por kultivi pli da kotono aŭ por produkti kotonsemajn oleon aŭ manĝaĵojn.
William Longstreet (ĉirkaŭ 1760 en Nov-Ĵerzejo – 1814 en Georgio) estis usona inventisto. Li faris vaporŝipon kaj plibonigis la kotonseparilon.
